Find Out if Blink-182 Lyrics Work As Pickup Lines

A Blink-182 fan curious how well the band’s lyrics might work as pickup lines filmed himself approaching strange women in public places and tossing out lines from random Blink songs. As you might guess, most of the ladies were not impressed.
The guy named Tommy explains, “For Blink-182′s video contest to advertise for their European tour, I decided to try using Blink-182 lyrics on random girls in public and see how they work. Awkwardness ensues.”
Some of his efforts are endearing, like when he sits down at a picnic table with a young lady and says, “This world’s an ugly place, but you’re so beautiful to me.” She appreciates the compliment but says nicely that she’s already engaged. His attempt at a Target store is a little more creepy. He stands outside the store and says to two exiting customers, “Show me the way to the bed!”
The kid’s only partial success comes when he tries ‘All the Small Things.’ The girl is confused by his wooing efforts, but she does recognize the song.

You have to give Tommy credit for having the courage to try. He eventually explains the whole thing to the girls and even gets them to sign waivers containing their name, address, and phone numbers. And that might be the most impressive part of all.

Zayn Malik Reveals: ‘I Don’t Lie About Girlfriends’

Even though Zayn’s girlfriend Perrie Edwards received death threats for dating the sexy One Directioner, he says there’s no point in hiding their relationship!

One Direction‘s Zayn Malik doesn’t think it’s worth it to keep his love for his girlfriend Perrie Edwards a secret from fans — despite the fact that their death threats reportedly caused her to delete her Twitter account!

Zayn, 19, told the UK’s Top of The Pops magazine that he’s never lied about his relationships.
“No, I’ve always been honest about that,” he said. “What’s the point of lying? You’ll just get found out and then you’ll look an idiot.”
Perrie, 18, a member of the British girl band Little Mix, deleted her Twitter account after reportedly getting abusive messages from One Direction fans following a date with Zayn to see The Avengers on April 26.
Still, the One Directioner also told the magazine honesty is always the best policy — even when it comes to dating fans!
“No, you shouldn’t keep it a secret just because she’s a fan,” he said. “If she’s your girlfriend, then she’s your girlfriend.”

Jessica Sanchez Reveals Her One Direction Crush

Jessica Sanchez got the chance to hang out with her One Direction crush Zayn Malik over the weekend, snapping a pic with the adorable 19-year-old.
“Love him soooooooo much,” the ‘American Idol‘ alum wrote with her Instagram pic, which was taken after the stunning Manny Pacquiao boxing match on June 9. However, Sanchez’s tweet didn’t go over well with 1D fans, who wrote angry comments in response to the California native. In fact, “Be Strong Jessica Sanchez” became a trending topic after her fans rallied to defend the ‘AI’ star.

Sanchez may “love” Malik, but the singer is currently dating Little Mix member Perrie Edwards. However, the two teens may have something in common. Edwards was reportedly on the receiving end of hateful messages after being spotted on a date with her boy band beau on April 26. According to Hollywood Life, Edwards had to delete her Twitter account because of the backlash.
Rough stuff! When it comes to the press and his fans, Malik remains open about his dating life, though. “What’s the point of lying?” he said in an interview with Top of the Pops magazine. “You’ll just get found out and then you’ll look an idiot.”

Katy Perry Hides Under Chanel Beach Towel at LAX

Katy Perry is a woman of extremes. While may have looked a little sloppy the other night when she got fall down drunk in London and exposed one of her butt cheeks,  upon returning to the U.S., the ‘Wide Awake’ singer was completely covered up. She was, however, fashionable even as she dodged the paparazzi at LAX airport. Perry was draped under a Chanel beach towel wrapped around her head and covering her face. How chic. Even her “I’m hiding from photographers” wrap is the highest of high end.
While we all get a little puffy when we spend several hours on a flight and few of us can lay claim to looking like models after a transatlantic flight, Perry really made every effort to avoid being snapped. Perhaps she was makeup-free? Hungover? Desiring privacy?
She peered out from under the towel, which made her look like a super fashion conscious nun, for a hot second, to check where she was. All we could see was a pair of sunglasses. Perry was covered from head to toe as she made her escape to a waiting car. Sometimes a gal doesn’t want to be photographed, even when she is a pop diva.
Perry looks to be wearing sweats, but notice that that her footwear is high end, too. She’s rocking white Chanel sneakers, as you can tell from the design house’s double C logo.
She flies in style, that’s for sure.

Samuel Larsen Returns to ‘The Glee Project,’ Tells Contestants to Be Confident and ‘Do You’

Samuel Larsen, the dreadlocked, brooding and hunky singer who was one of the winners of the first season of ‘The Glee Project‘ and who went on to play Joseph Hart on ‘Glee‘ proper, was tonight’s (June 12) guest on the second episode of the second season of the ‘Project.’ He was in this very position a year ago, so if there is anyone who knows what the new crop of kids is going through, it’s Larsen. He was there to judge the homework assignment, which was a rousing rendition of the Go-Go’s ‘We Got the Beat.’ We got it, yeah!
“Be completely confident in yourself” was Larsen’s advice to the hopefuls before they performed the homework song. He also told them, “Do you,” reminding them not to lose sight of who they are as singers.
The high-energy Abraham, the adorbs Asian American with the splotch of red hair, won the homework assignment, which meant a mentorship with Larsen as well as having the standout moment for the music video. Larsen told Abraham he won since he has “that extra, extra intensity.” It was also deemed one of the best homework assignments ever.
During the one-on-one sesh, Larsen told Abe to just keep his intensity and let the music take over. It was potent advice and if anyone knows how to survive a grueling gig on both the ‘Project’ and on ‘Glee,’ it’s Larsen.
