Marlon Brando (1924-2004) was one of Hollywood's greatest actors. Born Marlon Brando Jr. in Omaha, Nebraska, on April 3, 1924, Brando made his motion picture debut as the paralyzed war vet Ken Wilcheck in The Men (1950). His subsequent films include such fare as A Streetcar Named Desire (1951), On the Waterfront (1954), The Young Lions (1958), The Ugly American (1963), The Godfather (1972) and Apocalypse Now (1979).

Marlon Brando earned a Best Actor Oscar nomination for his searing performance as Stanley Kowalski in the 1951 film adaptation of Tennessee Williams' A Streetcar Named Desire. "Hey, Stella!
